Support Justine's Recovery After Crash

Hello friends and family and for those who don't know me my name is Justine.

I was recently involved in a really bad car accident. The driver of an 18-wheeler fell asleep at the wheel and swerved into my lane, causing me to have to overcorrect my steering, which caused my car to roll over multiple times. It was terrifying.

I am incredibly lucky not to have been killed or suffer a lot of internal injuries. However, I did not walk away completely unharmed. I have 1 fractured rib (and 3 bruised ribs), multiple bruises and cuts on my face and body, including a huge gash on my forehead that required several stitches to close. Needless to say, I feel very fortunate I am still alive and don’t have a broken neck and can still walk!

However, I find myself now in financial hardship, both from the total loss of my car and from the cost of the medical treatment I received in the emergency room. I know what you're thinking you got hit from someone who fell asleep at the wheel, but by a technicality through insurance, since I rear ended them, by default with insurance it's deemed my fault. We do have multiple witnesses and a confession from the driver falling asleep but with that being said going to court could take months or years to get the case ruled in my favor.

I am very thankful for all the people who have reached out to me since the accident and have offered their love and support, but what I really need is financial help. I am hoping that I can raise money to help cover some of the cost of my medical expenses and a used car for the time being as work even now is my priority.

Again, words really can't express my gratitude for all of you who have been there for me and have supported me through this tough and exhausting process. A Guardian angel was looking out for me (my dog Zero) and I'm just so thankful to be alive.
