Support Justine’s Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
My name is Kalenna, and I am writing this on behalf of my best friend Justine, a person who is always willing to help others but often reluctant to ask for help herself. She is a caring mother, a loyal friend, a strong sister, a kind daughter, and an exceptionally hard working, talented hairdresser.
In January, Justine was diagnosed with stage 3 nasopharyngeal head and neck cancer. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation multiple times a week while raising her beloved 9-year-old son, Payton.
Unfortunately, Justine, as a commission-based hairdresser, did not qualify for employment insurance, a benefit most Canadians can rely on when fighting cancer. She has been coping with extreme fatigue and has lost her ability to speak due to the intense treatment, making financial stability incredibly challenging.
Justine takes great pride in supporting her friends and family. She has taught her son that their home, love, and help are available to anyone in need. While we may not hear Justine’s laughter right now, many of us have been blessed by her open, kind heart over the years.
Asking for help is not normally in her vocabulary, but her household needs extend beyond just her. Please consider extending an act of kindness to Justine and Payton by helping them get through this difficult time. Even a small contribution of $5 can make a significant impact, enabling them to afford Justine’s medication, transportation to doctor’s appointments, and living expenses.
Show Justine that she does not have to face this battle alone. Thank you for your support and generosity.
