Hello all! My name is Justine, and I'm an almost 40-year-old mother of two, living on a mountaintop! My children and I live in a rural community that is very secluded and doesn't have much around, except our beautiful forest. We love it here and have grown to love our home.

Unfortunately, the home is very old, and this past weekend took a turn for the worst. Out of nowhere, I noticed water coming up through my floorboards. A pipe leak has devastated half of the house. It's a 70ft trailer, so needless to say, this is crippling. Mind you, the mountaintop is about 0-10 degrees right now, and I do not doubt the damage will continue.

This spur-of-the-moment situation is not something I can handle on my own. I'm not in a great financial situation and haven't been able to earn efficiently due to health interruptions. We do not want to have to move, but I need to rebuild half of a house. Without anything to put down for a loan, I'm afraid of what this means for us. I have decided to put my pride aside and do what my children need and ask for help. We will have to leave if I can't fix this, and even moving I cannot afford. I hope to get enough help to apply for every program I am eligible for and rebuild my home.
