Hi everyone! As many of you already know, Justine was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of July 2021: Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, HER2+. It's an aggressive form of breast cancer, and though it was caught early, she has to undergo aggressive treatment to rid it from her body. This diagnosis came in the middle of a divorce and the beginning of a new career. Once treatment began, she had to stop working as she underwent surgery for a lumpectomy and began chemotherapy. 

Chemo leaves her feeling sick and weak most days. Her immune system is suppressed, making her susceptible to catching viruses. In January, she will also begin daily radiation treatments for six weeks, making it another three months or so before she can return to work safely. 

Unfortunately, the bills don't stop. And although she receives some support and disability, it doesn't cover living expenses like utilities, car payments, medical copays, prescriptions, and other items needed to get her through this challenging time. Every month, she falls further behind, adding to an already stressful situation. I am hoping we can all ease some of that stress so she can focus on healing and getting stronger.
