Support Justina: After the Loss of Her Baby

I recently met a woman named Justina in the Neonatal ICU. She gave birth to her baby boy, Kanna, at just 23 weeks. Justina is from Nigeria and has been in the country for only five months on a skilled workers visa. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any family or friends here to support her during this difficult time.

Kanna faced severe challenges after his premature birth, including brain swelling, and tragically passed away yesterday at 34 weeks old. Now, Justina is preparing for her son’s funeral, and while she hopes to return to work afterward, she is currently without accommodation, having lived in the hospital since December 2024.

I’ve been deeply moved by Justina’s story, and I would like to raise funds to support her as she leaves the hospital and navigates this next chapter.
