In 2023, Justin was diagnosed with End-Stage Kidney Disease where they found that both of his kidneys stopped working. After a biopsy to see what was going on, a disease called IGA Nephropathy was identified and it had slowly destroyed his kidneys.

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for help. Our beloved Justin has been given a new lease on life! After a long and challenging battle with kidney disease, he has found a donor, and we are so thankful for this miracle and couldn’t be more grateful! We want to thank all his friends, family and anonymous people that signed up to be potential donors to help Justin. It was truly amazing and overwhelming! As he embarks on this journey toward recovery, he faces significant medical and monthly expenses that he needs help managing. He now faces the reality of being off work for multiple months with reduced pay, as his income slows, the bills will keep coming. Justin really did not want me to ask for any sort of donations on his behalf, but I know the bills & appointments are going to add up quickly.

As many of you know, medical expenses for such procedures can be overwhelming. Even with insurance coverage, Justin is facing significant costs that remain uncovered. In addition, on January 1st, 2025, his medical coverage will double. We estimate that approximately $12,000 will be needed to cover essential expenses, aftercare following the surgery, and out-of-pocket medical costs that will arise during his recovery. Any support to help Justin through this critical time would be deeply appreciated.

Watching him grow and make a difference in the lives of others fills our hearts with joy, and I am grateful every day for the young man he is.
