Justin Palace, a life too short
Last week we lost an incredible human being, Justin Palace. To know Justin was to experience his positive outlook on life, his loyalty and his willingness to always help others. Being close to Justin also was to know about his ongoing battle with addiction. Most recently Justin and family had incredible hope for the future and experienced his intense want to be able to live well with the illness.
The loss of Justin felt incredibly sudden, and while speaking with his loved ones, friends, colleagues and family there rises a commonality, a shared wish that we could have taken away more of his burden and pain and prevent this incredible loss.
Justin, spouse Sarah and daughters Izzy (3) and Ivy (20 months) had many dreams left to explore as a family, and they need our support as they grieve the loss of husband and father. While Justin has left us physically, his dreams and wishes can continue to be realized if we collectively support this family as they try to rebuild after losing the family's sole wage earner.
If you had the blessed opportunity to meet Justin, you know how much his family meant to him, and your donation can help to carry out his long term wishes, and relieve some burden on the family during this difficult time. If you didn't have the opportunity to meet Justin, please know how much that you missed out on, and consider a donation to show that individuals who struggle with substance use disorder truly matter, their family and loved ones matter. Collectively we can make a difference in Izzy and Ivy's lives as later in life they will know how much the community supported them at their time of need. This is what we believe that Justin would want, and we thank you for your consideration in helping to make his dreams realized.
All our love to you Sarah, Izzy and Ivy ❤️, we hope that this can help
