Support Justin Huertas

Hi! My name is Katie and I am asking for help for a good friend of mine. Justin has been through a really difficult medical journey over the past few years. Five years ago he discovered that he was born with an enlarged heart. After a medical regimen and an unhealthy lifestyle he was over 400 pounds. Over the last year he took charge of his health and lost 200+ pounds. Last week he was given a terminal diagnosis due to the shape his heart is in now. They are giving him 9 months to live. His medical team is working to get him on a transplant list. Understandably, his mental health has declined and he is having a hard time focusing at work and grasping this recent prognosis. Anyone who knows Justin knows he is the sweetest guy and doesn't ever ask for help. He is an amazing dad with 2 kids who love him dearly. Please help me in easing the burden of his medical bills, rent and groceries so he can focus on what is important during this time and can be present with his family. Justin is amazing and deserves the world. He is a gift to this world and should feel loved and supported. Thank you so much!
