Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We're reaching out today with heavy hearts to share some difficult news. Our beloved motorhome, which has been our primary residence for the past three years, recently suffered a devastating fire.

This RV wasn't just a vehicle to us; it was our cherished home. It's where my wife, Jasmine, and I built our lives, shared countless memories, and found immense joy living simply and on our own terms. It's the place where our furry and shelled family members – our wonderful dog Marvel, our mischievous rabbit Bundy, and our little tortoise Kemper – have always been safe and happy. We absolutely loved living in it, and it truly was our sanctuary. This lifestyle, the freedom and simplicity it offered, means everything to us.

The fire, which originated from a short in the fridge area, spread with terrifying speed into the bathroom and bedroom, filling the entire residence with thick smoke. We are incredibly lucky that our little family – Justin, Jasmine, Marvel, Bundy, and Kemper – all got out alive. When the firefighters left, everything in our home was sadly affected by either fire, smoke, or water.

This unexpected tragedy has turned our lives upside down. While some clothes and items physically survived, we are still tirelessly working to get the pervasive smell of burning out of them, and many others were completely lost. We've decided that the best path forward is to replace our RV and its essential contents to continue the lifestyle we cherish.

We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution, no matter how small, is truly helpful as we still have no idea what lies ahead for us. Funds will directly help us replace our essential possessions – everything from clothes and kitchen utensils – as well as provide a crucial down payment on a new place that can once again be our home. Should there be any remaining funds after our immediate needs are met, they will be gratefully donated to the American Red Cross to help others facing similar emergencies.
