This Go Fund Me is in support of Justin Scott Gray, 19 and Emily Skye Stalker, 20 following the loss of their baby boy Caden Scott Stalker-Gray.
Justin and Emily's lives changed when they learned of Caden's fetal diagnosis of LUTO (Lower Urinary Tract Obstruction). A condition that only effects boys and causes a blockage in the urethra. For many babies this condition clears spontaneously, but for Caden things worsened. His case became more severe overtime and his kidneys, lungs, heart, and other major organs were effected leading to his passing on March 11, 2026.
Caden Scott was honored following his passing with a beautiful funeral surrounded by family, and laid to rest in an Angel Baby Garden specially made for infants.
The couple saw multiple different teams of doctors from the time of Caden's diagnosis all the way up to his passing. This included the Nemour's Children's Hospital Fetal Diagnosis Center, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment, and the CHOP Special Delivery Unit who all took part in tracking and planning treatments for Caden. As well as Penn Medicine in Philadelphia who took care of Emily following the loss. They have also started the process of pursuing genetic testing to learn more about what happened and see how it may effect their future ability to have healthy children.
As you may imagine all these tests, appointments, and procedures to attempt to save Caden's life and keep Emily healthy came at a large financial expense. Even after insurance and the help of family, these bills have still been much greater than expected.
If you choose to donate today, the funds will go directly to Emily, Justin, and Caden's medical bills and funeral expenses. The exact amount of what their bills may add up to is still unknown as they continue to accumulate, so this fund is a way to give the couple a head start on what financial pressures may come. However, if more than is needed to cover their bills comes of this fund, the remaining will be donated directly to the Fetal Health Foundation where Emily and Justin will designate the money to continued LUTO research.
Emily and Justin are beyond grateful for the outpouring of love and support in this challenging time. It truly takes a village to get through something like this and however you can help will make all the difference for this little family.
