My name is Justice, I'm 30 years old and just had my first heart attack. I'm married with four children. My wife is unable to work due to her medical condition and I'm now off work until the 13th of April. We thought we were good but unfortunately my job put me into a do not pay status due to the heart attack. I am trying to get short term disability, but the process is taking a little longer than expected. We have three big bills due at the beginning of the month here and sadly cannot afford to pay them. Each one is $200. We don't like to ask for help if we can help it but sadly this unexpected event has put a big damper on us financially. We live paycheck to paycheck so not receiving anything for the last week and the following two weeks is going to be hard on us. Anything helps as I now also have to pay for my medications because I cannot get state insurance.
