On June 11th 2025, my partner Justice Forral, was involved in a protest at the ICE facility at 411 W Cataldo Avenue in Spokane. They’ve been arrested three separate times on charges from that day.

During the first arrest, Justice was zip-tied so tightly and for so long that they were later diagnosed with nerve damage in both wrists and deal with significant pain as a result.

The second arrest occurred during Pride, and the third took place early in the morning at our home. In addition to the emotional toll of these events, Justice’s car was held as evidence by Spokane Police Department for 6 months and their phone permanently seized by the FBI.

Justice currently serves as a Human Rights Commissioner for the city of Spokane and has spent years advocating for vulnerable people in Spokane and caring deeply for their community. Justice dedicated five years to working with SCAR before being unexpectedly terminated in October. Losing their job during an already overwhelming legal situation had a major impact on Justice mentally and financially, and has put strain on our household.

This past year has been filled with uncertainty and stress. We’re incredibly grateful for all the support, care, and solidarity our community has shown us. Several people have asked how they can support us and contributing here is the easiest and most direct way to do that right now.

Funds will go directly towards medical expenses related to Justice’s nerve damage, living expenses impacted by their job loss, meals during trial, and care for our pets, Coug and Wolf.
