The recent inhumane incident of gang rape and murder of 16-year-old Inisha BK in Surkhet district has shocked and saddened the entire human society. This tragedy has not only taken the life of a brave young girl, but has also left her family devastated and struggling to cope with the aftermath. As they pursue justice for Inisha, the family is facing a very weak financial situation, making it difficult to manage essential expenses such as accommodation, food, transportation, and lawyer fees in Kathmandu. These challenges are even more complicated for communities affected by caste discrimination, adding another layer of hardship to an already unbearable situation.
