Hi, my name is Jurni. I’m 8 years young and I was just diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma (TCC).
I spent the first 6 years of my life as a breeding dog who gave so many loving families puppies. I never truly knew what love was until I found my forever parents in November of 2023.
Over the last year, my forever parents gave me a life I never knew could exist. Since coming to live with them, I’ve learned what it’s like to truly be a dog, be loved, chase balls, go for walks, camping, and most importantly, I’m no longer doomed to spend my days and nights cramped in a kennel (being a couch doggo is amazing)!
My parents are heartbroken to learn about my terminal cancer and that our time together will be cut so much shorter than expected with a prognosis of 6-8 months. Diagnostics have already racked up some hefty bills and treatment is anticipated to be even more expensive, requiring me to visit the vet every two weeks for chemotherapy.
I’m in really good spirits and so full of life despite everything! My mom says it’s like I’m still a puppy on the inside.
My parents have a hard time asking for help, but they would be so grateful for anything you may be able to donate so I can preserve my quality of life. If you are unable to donate, sharing this is still really helpful!
Thank you for taking the time to read, and we appreciate your support. ❤️
