The Situation:
Our dear friend and community member, Jupiter Peraza, is currently facing an urgent financial crisis. Due to unexpected and significant delays in USCIS processing, Jupiter’s DACA renewal has not arrived. As of April 10th, she is legally unable to work until her new permit is issued.
Why We Are Raising Funds:
Jupiter has always been a hard worker and a vital part of our community, but without the legal right to earn an income, she is facing immediate uncertainty regarding her rent, utilities, and basic cost of living. We don't know how long the "administrative backlog" will last—it could be weeks or even months.
