My name is Junior Laurent, on December 3, 2024 I suffered a serious accident while riding my motorcycle. An Armored SWAT truck unexpectedly swerved into my lane and struck me. The injuries I sustained are very severe. I had two surgeries on my broken left arm. An open wound required stitches on my upper left eye. A broken left knee surgery took place on December 7, 2024.

My second surgery took place on December 13, 2024 but I have yet to undergo additional surgery on my femur. The femur and knee surgery is crucial for my recovery for me to be able to walk again.

I am seeking assistance for transportation and medical care. There are no orthopedic surgeons that can operate on this difficult surgery in Haiti, therefore transportation is necessary to operate on this injury. Given the ongoing violence and instability in Haiti, more than $25,000 USD would be needed for transportation and surgery.
