20-year-old Junie Lee was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in the fall of 2024. She will be undergoing surgery to remove her thyroid and lymph, where the cancer has spread. She will also be undergoing radiation therapy this spring.

Junie is a vibrant young woman pursuing her B.A. in Environmental Studies with a 4.0 GPA at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She is passionate about the environment, animals, and social justice. She is very close to her family. They enjoy traveling, camping, rock climbing, and just being together.

Junie will need lots of love and support as she heals from cancer and operations. While Junie will have some medical expenses covered by insurance, there will still be a lot of out-of-pocket expenses related to travel, medical procedures, and recovery.
