Hi there! I'm June, a newly out trans woman in Oklahoma. I have a LOT of expenses related to my transition: medical appointments, medications, therapy, voice lessons, and hair removal at the moment, plus potential travel for surgical consultations (which will be a whole OTHER potential expense down the road). In addition I need an entire new wardrobe of clothes, a new bicycle for getting to work and running errands, and all sorts of other things that come up along the way.

Anything you can spare is a big help. I have been largely fortunate in life, and my needs are probably not the most dire, and there are certainly other worthy causes you could be donating to. But I promise to make the most of whatever I get. I'm hoping to stay where I am, in a state that is largely unfriendly to trans folks, so I can keep working with young people, stay involved with local organizations, and generally help out where I can. Again, anything you can contribute towards my goal will help make my life here a bit more liveable.
