Support June's Facial Feminization Recovery!

Hello Friends!

For those who know me and those who don't my name is June Miller, I'm a 33 year old working-class trans woman living and working as a massage therapist in New Haven, Connecticut.

I've been medically transitioning for 6 years and in the past year I came to the realization that life is short and in order to truly be happy in my body and identity I wanted to surgically continue my transition.

Early next month (August 2022) a HUGE part of this goal will become a reality! I'll be having Facial Feminization Surgery which will give me a more feminine facial structure and be able to navigate the world more easily and hopefully without having to deal with as much social transphobia that us trans people often experience.

While the surgery itself is covered by insurance, none of the post surgical care including income lost from time off work or supplies I'll need to help me heal are. Bills don't wait for anyone and I've decided to call on my community for help so I'm not completely depleting my resources and stressing out about how I'm going to survive after undergoing a series of intense facial surgeries. The healing time I have to take of from Massage is anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks depending on how quickly I heal and how well the surgery goes.

I'm trying to raise $4,500 to cover two months of bills, groceries, medical supplies, and creature comforts while I heal. If we are or have ever been in community or if you just love seeing a trans girl win and are able to give to or share this GFM I'd be incredibly appreciative.
