Support June Bug's Puppy Journey to a Pain-Free Life
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I want you to meet June Bug!
She is a six-month-old puppy that I rescued off of a farm two months ago. She had never been indoors, was matted, and full of ticks. Not long after I brought her home, she developed a limp. Several (expensive) vet visits later, she has been diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dessicans (OCD) in her shoulder.
It is a condition where the cartilage does not adhere to the bone, forming a loose flap that then breaks off into the joint causing severe pain and mobility issues. It requires surgery to correct and a CT scan is highly recommended.
These procedures together cost about $7000.
I’m asking for help because $7000 is a lot to find on a single income teacher’s budget.
Many people have told me to get rid of her, but I’ve lost both of my other dogs to cancer in the last two years. One was my best friend for 12 years.
June Bug is a happy, floppy puppy and deserves to grow up free of pain.
Please consider a small donation and share this with the dog lovers in your life, any bit really does help and I would be grateful. Thank you!
