Our dear friend Julius is struggling with Alport Syndrome and facing one of the toughest battles of his life. After struggling with severe kidney failure, Julius has now reached the point where his kidneys have very little function left. Doctors have told him that a kidney transplant is his best chance at survival and a healthier future.

Because of his condition, Julius is currently unable to work. The treatments, medical appointments, and the toll the illness has taken on his body have made it impossible for him to maintain a job. Without an income, the cost of ongoing medical care, medications, and transplant-related expenses has quickly become overwhelming.

We’re starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden so Julius can focus on what truly matters right now: his health and getting the life-saving transplant he needs.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Medical bills and transplant-related expenses

• Medications and treatments

• Travel and hospital visits

• Daily living expenses while he is unable to work
