Support Our Family During Julio’s Heart Surgery Recovery

Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time to read our story.

On November 24th, my husband Julio underwent open heart surgery. While we are incredibly grateful he made it through the operation, his recovery will take several months, and during that time he will be unable to work. This has brought our household down to one income, and even that is about to pause.

I work in a school cafeteria. which means when the holiday break arrives, I will be out of work for a few weeks as well. With both of us unable to work during this time, we are facing a very difficult financial period.

We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help cover our ongoing bills, including rent, utilities, groceries, and other essentials while Julio heals and I await the return to work.

This has been an overwhelming and emotional time for our family, and any help—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser—means more than we can express.
