Hello everyone,

For those who may be seeing this post for the first time:

We want to share an update on our dear friend Julio Saenz, who has been on the road to recovery after his devastating car accident on October 16th. Thanks to the incredible support of this community, along with Julio’s strength and determination, he has made important strides in his recovery.

We are pleased to share the following update:

Julio's strength and courage allowed him to progress from the UCLA ICU to a Santa Monica recovery center. (Please reply individually for visitation details.)

Our dear friend Julio has already undergone multiple surgeries with more on the way.

We, (his team of dedicated friends and loved ones)consult with his team of doctors on a daily basis to monitor his progress.

What Julio needs most right now is our love and support. Along with our emotional encouragement and friendship, he also requires our financial assistance. In addition to mounting hospital bills, there will be daily living expenses for months to come. Given the severity of his injuries, it is unlikely that he will be able to return to work anytime soon.

All to say, there is a very long road of recovery ahead. I have had the privilege to have spoken with Julio personally. Teary-eyed, he shared his sincere gratitude at the generosity shared thus far. When appropriate, we will share photos of his recovery.

To those who have given, we thank you. To those who can, we ask that you share. Our dear Julio has literally years of therapy ahead. Any amount is appreciated.
