Support Julie's Urgent Cancer Treatment

$1,500 NEEDED FOR WEEK: 1/27 - 1/31/25

Julie Wilson is known for her kind, thoughtful, and empathetic nature. She is generous to a fault and always puts others before herself.

She is a mother, sister, grandmother, and friend and has dedicated the majority of her life to providing personal support to disabled individuals in our community. She is also a breast cancer survivor of 10 years and is unbelievably strong.

As we all know, life can seem so unfair at times! After everything she has already endured and overcome, Julie has recently been diagnosed with cancer again, this time ocular melanoma. The cancer is sitting right on top of her optical nerve and growing rapidly. She needs treatment now!

In order to receive life-saving proton therapy, her best chance to beat this type of cancer, she must travel to and from the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, WA at least six times, if not more. The associated costs with travel, lodging, meals, etc. are astronomical. Just her trips back and forth from her hotel to the medical center alone cost $100/day.
