Hi, my name is Julie. Meet Crookie, he is part of a feral community. However, he is not feral at all. Crookie has developed some type of mass in his right cheek. I have to try and get him into a crate and get him to a vet or clinic (he absolutely hates a crate) I don’t know his back story, but I can only imagine what he has endured in his life. I’m hoping it’s nothing major. I decided to step up to do TNR in Somerset, Rockwood Pa area for a group of feral cats. So far I have trapped and TNR’d 31 cats. I still have about 7 or so I have to trap. The pregnant ones had their pregnancies terminated. I have managed to get 14 kittens into foster care. 4 adult cats also placed with fosters awaiting their forever homes. I have funded most of the expenses out of my own pocket. I’m hoping to raise enough funds to offset his vet bill and get him into a rescue so he won’t have to endure another somerset winter. Every little bit will help and I’m truly appreciative.
