Support Julie's Final Journey with Dignity

A very generous family member set up a go fund me account. It's what's happening to me is one of the ways where it happens to other people, not me? So we were not prepared for what was coming down the pike! This pending death found Janet looking to God through prayer! And she did just that. Many tears and many prayers and your generosity are just what she prayed for.

Janet, Lance, and I are so grateful for everything you have contributed, whether it's prayer, good thoughts, letters, and donations! Thank you so much! My sister, Julie Lacy Pinckney, currently 59 years young, has been battling cancer for over 5 years. She now has pancreatic cancer, and after fighting the fight of cancer, it is now becoming more of a reality that her time on earth is minimal. She has had several strokes, biopsies, MRIs, CAT scans, chemo/radiation, and the list is too long. She has a duct blocking her pancreas. The fluid that is backing up into her abdomen is cancerous. She cannot have surgery; it's too late. As of today, she is confined to her hospital bed. She cannot read or write. I spoke to her on the phone, and she can barely get the words out. My heart is shattered . She cannot walk, read, write, and now barely talk. Her husband is beside himself trying to take care of her, with little or no help. Her husband is extremely worried about funeral costs. They have a very fixed income that doesn't allow room for a funeral.

Julie is very concerned about it. Julie and her husband are trying to cherish those final days of her life, and it's very difficult because they are in desperate need of help. Funds are needed now. They can't contact a funeral home until they have money.
