After battling ovarian cancer twice already, my sister Julie McIntosh is now facing her third recurrence in just three years—and she needs the support of her community more than ever. She is not yet eligible for Medicare and has high insurance premiums and a high deductible.
Julie is a loving mother and grandmother, an active member of her church, a teacher and a friend to many. She has dedicated her life to helping others as a teacher. For many years she has taught English Second Language classes for adult students, where she was honored as Teacher of the Year for the compassion, patience, and encouragement she gives to her students every day.
Julie has always been someone who lifts others up. She has spent years helping her students build confidence, find their voices, and create better lives for themselves and their families. To know Julie is to know someone who leads with kindness, faith, and generosity.
Now Julie is in another difficult fight. The physical and emotional toll of ongoing cancer treatment is heavy, and the medical bills from surgeries, treatments, and care continue to grow. Our hope is to ease some of this financial burden so Julie can focus her energy on healing and spending time with the people she loves.
If you are able, please consider donating and sharing Julie’s story—your kindness will help lift a heavy burden and remind her she is not fighting this battle alone.
Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and support during this incredibly challenging time. ❤️
