Donation protected
On January 3rd, father, friend and beloved hockey coach Juilien Philips suffered a sudden brain aneurysm. He was flown from Victoria to Vancouver for brain surgery and is in the neuro ICU. Juilien faces a long road to recovery and his family will need to be away from home to be near him in Vancouver for weeks to come. Juilien is known for his big heart, big laughs, and his passion for coaching kids.
Through 25 years of coaching hockey, Juilien has positively guided hundreds of young people on Southern Vancouver Island and helped them work towards their dreams. Juilien is currently an assistant coach for the Peninsula Eagles U15A hockey team. The team is calling on the community to join them in supporting and giving back to Coach Juilien and his family during this very difficult time.
