I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Julien and his younger brother Michael, who are facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain time as their father battles advanced cancer.
Five years ago, their father was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments, he was considered to be in remission. Sadly, the cancer later metastasized to his lungs. Although the nodules were deemed inoperable at the time, he continued fighting and working toward the possibility of future treatment options.
Recently, after experiencing severe headaches for about a week, he was rushed to the emergency room. Doctors performed a CT scan and discovered a mass in his brain that is possibly cancerous. He is currently hospitalized and fighting through this devastating new development while also coping with numerous health complications caused by years of cancer treatment.
As their father’s condition has worsened, Julien (22), who recently completed phlebotomy school, and Michael (17), a student at Pinkerton Academy, have found themselves carrying the responsibilities of an entire household. They are now faced with managing bills, groceries, pet care, household expenses, transportation, and countless other financial obligations while trying to support their father through the most difficult battle of his life.
No young adults should have to navigate this kind of burden alone.
The funds raised will help ease the financial strain on Julien and Michael, allowing them to focus on their family and their father’s care rather than worrying about how they will keep up with everyday expenses.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly challenging time.
