My name is Lee Ann Miller, I am Julie's mother, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my incredible daughter Julie Schaffer and her loving family.

Julie was diagnosed earlier in the year with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy in June, and they removed 11 lymph nodes, a grueling procedure that marked the first step in reclaiming her health. Julie will have a second surgery at the end of October. Julie is still recovering from the first surgery. She will not be able to fully return to work until sometime next year. Leaving her family navigating medical bills, lost wages, and the everyday costs that keep piling up. The financial strain is overwhelming. Julie is 35 years of age and has 3 children a 16-year-old, a two-year-old and a one-year-old. It has been hard on all of them.
