Support Julie Cornelius During Her Healing Journey

I believe everyone that knows Julie Cornelius has been moved to laugh at many of her FB posts. Her sense of humor is infectious!

Well, our dear, beloved friend needs a little assistance. She is dealing with a bum knee that has sidelined her from work. She hasn’t been employed long enough with her employer to qualify for Short Term Disability. Being very proud, she has been reluctant to ask for any help. However, I assured her that her friends would have her back.

I tried to convince her to fabricate some action-packed story as to how her knee was injured, such as skydiving or rescuing a family of dogs from a burning building (which we KNOW she would do). However, she insisted I state that it is due to “old age.” Who can relate to that?? I imagine most of us. 35 years of making others look fantastic with hairstyles has taken a toll on her knee.

She is hopeful that treatments will prevent any surgery, but the time off has already presented a need. The GoFundMe account is set with a goal of $3,000 to help her with June’s rent payment coming due and to help catch up on some other bills.

I urge you to pray about it and then follow your thoughts and heart regarding contributing to helping her out. It is not a “big” ask from us, if we can divide up the sharing. Other than the small fee that GoFundMe subtracts from each donation, all the funds will go directly to Julie.

The bottom says to give a donation "to help Stephen on his journey to success"... I am not receiving any money, so that may seem misleading. I tried to get Julie to let me charge 50% management fee, but she refused the offer... just kidding, of course... she said it was okay....NO... I mean I did not offer and will not be taking any fees out!!!
