Support Julie and Ellebow's Medical Journey

My name is Hanna, my mom’s name is Julie, and her dog is Elle (or, as we lovingly call her, Ellebow.) On Wednesday last week, Ellebow started to vomit everything she ate and drank. My mom took her to the emergency vet in Blacksburg where she left with no real answers. Our vet in Alderson was able to get her in the next day where we found out that Ellebow has pancreatitis, so she was sent home with IV fluids, antibiotics, and painkillers. We were hoping this would be the solution to her problem. Unfortunately, Ellebow continued to refuse to eat any food. My mom took her back to the vet today where we found out that Ellebow has a mass pushing on the top of her stomach. At this point, our doctor is unsure what the mass is and is going to do exploratory surgery next week to find this mass and determine a course of treatment. These expenses have been really difficult for my mom, and we are all doing what we can to make sure our Ellebow gets the help she needs. If anyone knows my mom, you know that for the last 7 years Elle has been her shadow. She goes everywhere with her. She is truly her ride-along dog.
