Support Julie After Dennis's Sudden Passing

Donation protected
On Tuesday May 6th, 2025, Dennis Coleman died unexpectedly in his sleep during a nap. He had not felt well since November, but continued to work tirelessly full time evenings at Walmart. Medical testing had been ordered, but he died suddenly before testing was completed.

Dennis was the husband of my lifelong friend, Julie Gray (now Julie Coleman). Dennis and Julie were married almost 11 years ago, and lived in Bangor in their own double wide trailer home on a beautiful rented lot. Dennis was only 62 when he died on Tuesday afternoon. Julie herself is disabled, and this sudden loss of both her loving husband and the great majority of income is devastating.

Dennis was a great guy- he planted fruit trees on their lot, grew vegetables in raised beds, helped neighbors clear their driveways in winter, loved their two cats, and appreciated Julie's good cooking or a cup of her coffee. He was frugal, and made sure they had what they needed. Times were hard, but they were rich in love, and so happy to have met each other in mid life.
(For friends from the Hancock area, Julie is the daughter of the late Carl and Charlotte Gray. )

Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart- any amount is appreciated to help Julie pay the funeral home, and help with expenses for the next few months that will be above her monthly income.

She is a strong woman. Right now she is doing an amazing job of managing the many things that have to be done after the death of a spouse, while still in shock, and without adequate resources. Thank you for helping her through this time of crisis.
