Help Julia recover from a devastating motorcycle accident.

Hi everyone, I’m Alyssa and I’m starting a fundraiser for my lifelong best friend Julia. As most of my family and friends know, Julia was chosen to be a rider on the Build Train Race team for the 2025-2026 race season, teaching women to build and race their own motorcycles and getting back into doing what she’s always loved to do, giving her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She was able to fly to Dallas, Texas, where she built her bike and got to experience meeting new people and gaining knowledge on breaking down and building new bikes. A month later, she was flown to Daytona, Florida, to start her race season. On 03/06, Julia set the fastest overall in qualifying and placed second in her heat race, making us all very proud and excited that she’s back doing what she does best. When it came to her main race, she was not able to finish due to having back-to-back crashes, the second one being very heart-wrenching to watch and sending her to Halifax Hospital in Daytona, FL. At the hospital, they diagnosed her with one broken wrist that would require her to have surgery within 7 days. Days later, she flew back home. Later on, she went to French Hospital in San Luis Obispo for a second diagnosis as she was in a large amount of pain. They then diagnosed her with not just one but two broken wrists, one being a clean fracture and the other being shattered along with broken bones in the hand, telling her it’s urgent and very significant as not many specialize in bones in the wrist. This is requiring her to have surgeries on March 14. After her surgeries, she will be attending orthopedic appointments along with physical therapy.

While Julia’s family and friends watching/supporting her across states are very proud, we are also very lucky and grateful that she made it out of such a bad crash with just these injuries. Her road to recovery will be long and difficult.

Right now, Julia is facing immense medical bills and lost wages while she heals. We want to make sure that she can focus entirely on her recovery without worrying about how to cover her expenses.
