Hi everyone, my name is Alysia, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my sister and our family after a devastating car accident.

On Saturday March 8th, my sister was involved in a serious head-on collision caused by another driver. She was rushed to the hospital with multiple injuries, including a Diffuse Axonal neural injury, chest contusions, and several broken bones. She is currently in the neuroscience ICU, where doctors are closely monitoring her condition. She’s a fighter and has an army with her day and night.

While we are incredibly grateful that she survived, she has a long road to recovery ahead. Between the ICU stay, medical treatments, and the time she will need to heal, the financial burden is already overwhelming. Between loss of wages, insurance coverage, and in the waiting period of legal matters, the last thing Julia’s family needs to be thinking about is money.

In addition to this, Julia’s 18th birthday is on the 10th and she will be spending it in the hospital.
