On Saturday, March 7th, my friend Julia Hernandez was on her way home from an event when she experienced a flat tire. She pulled over to the shoulder of the road in an attempt to change it, but while she was working, an inattentive driver crashed into her car, pinning Julia between the vehicle and the guardrails. Julia was incredibly lucky to survive, but she suffered significant injuries, including bruising, several broken ribs, a mild concussion, and impaired mobility. Her car was also severely damaged in the accident.

Julia works in the hospitality industry, and her job as a server requires her to be on her feet for long hours. Right now, her injuries make it impossible for her to work, and the medical bills and car repairs are adding up quickly.
