Hi friends and family,

I’m writing this on behalf of my sister Julia and her husband, Jonathan. As many of you know, Julia is expecting her first baby this fall. A few weeks ago, she experienced a sudden and serious medical emergency that required major chest surgery and a long hospital stay. It was incredibly scary, but we are so thankful that both she and the baby are safe and on the road to recovery.

Now they’re facing a financial burden of about $7,000 in out-of-pocket medical expenses. This comes at a time when they’re also preparing for the arrival of their baby boy and trying to manage time off work and recovery at home.

Julia and Jonathan are two of the most caring and generous people I know. They’re always willing to support the people around them, and they show up with love and loyalty no matter what.
