Please help me give my mother a fighting chance. My mother Julia was diagnosis with (stage 3 breast cancer in August of 2024).  (She began receiving chemotherapy treatments at Northwestern Hospital in 11/2024.After five months of chemotherapy she begin to have an unsteady gait during her 5th cycle of chemo. Which ultimately led to her having many falls. That was never reported to me by anyone at nursing home she was at. The nursing home that she was at neglected her. If you have loved ones DO NOT PUT THEM IN A NURSING HOME. EVERYONE IS NOT IN IT TO CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES , THEY ARE IN IT FOR A CHECK . Me being a health care worker I had to report it to the state. On 4/14/2025 I spoke to my mom like I do daily and she did not sound like herself . After several attempts pleading to the nursing home to send my mother to the hospital. ( I was told I couldn’t take her, she had to get a order from her MD) due to her worsening condition, I had to tell them I was on my way to take my mother to the hospital before they decided to send her to the hospital on 04/14/2025.By the time my mother got to the hospital her blood pressure was low , she looked weak and exhausted. She had a knot on the back of her head. She was admitted to Northwestern Hospital on 4/14/2025 .It wasn’t until she went through a series of testing that several mass were found and one had a lot of swelling in the back of her brain, that was responsible for her falling . While being inpatient, on 04/18/2025 her diagnosis changed to IV CT3N1M invasive ductal carcinoma ER/PR/HER2. She also went through 5 rounds of radiation.
Due to the negligence of what happened to my mother, I would like to relocate her to MD Anderson Cancer Center , which is number 1 Cancer Center, they are located in Houston, TX.  To provide my mother with the best care possible also they are the only cancer center that provides a smoking program to help her stop smoking in hopes of prolonging her life.  We all are addicted to something it’s saddens me that I can’t help my mother kick her habit . I have tried everything . I need help I can’t do it alone . I contacted the Cancer Center and they are asking for 24,000 up front , which is her 20 percent that her insurance company does not cover.
Due to my mother’s condition I have to take off work a lot . With the most recent being 9days.Some of her medical expense are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tighter and tighter.

Julia is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and is always there to give her love and support or the shirt off her back to anyone that needs it. She has a contagious smile .. even while she is going through treatments she always smiles. She helps the nurses find her veins, to begin treatments. This Friday she will begin a new chemo called Trodelvy.
If you can find it in your heart to give anything , We can’t fight this battle without GOD and you .If you can’t give all I’m asking is for you to send a prayer up on her behalf . Everything we can do to help and surround her with love is what is most important so she can focus on living her best life with this horrible disease CANCER!  Please spread the word. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts !
