My name is Erin and I've known Julia for about 9 years and she had grown into one of my best friends and family. On May 2, 2025, Julia was diagnosed with a high grade localized breast cancer known as ductal carcinoma. Luckily, due to the localization of the cancer, it is noninvasive, and has not spread to other lymph nodes or other parts of her body. Instead of being upset or angry, She is extremely thankful..as she is a nurse who has worked in oncology, has held the hand of many patients suffering through cancer, and understands this is a more favorable outcome of breast cancers. Nevertheless, being as though it is high grade carcinoma, she will have to have surgery, followed by radiation therapy 5 days a week for several weeks as her treatment plan, with a potential of a 5 year course of hormone suppressants. Julia has always been an extremely hard worker, works 2 jobs as a nurse-working closely with those with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, children with genetic disorders or disabilities and cancer patients in her previous jobs. Most importantly, Julia is a mother of 2 boys, Liam (11) and Oliver (3). It is evident that she sleeps, eats and breathes for her children. They are her main concern.

She is also currently enrolled in college to enhance her nursing career as a practitioner to have a higher skill level to help people at their most vulnerable state, they when are sick. We feel it is right to give back and take care of her at a vulnerable period, and eliminate financial stress while she navigates getting better.

She is the most down to earth, kindest, selfless, giving, self motivated, grateful, well-rounded person we have ever known. Donations will go to her period of being out of work for surgery, healing, medical bills, and time lost at work to dedicate to radiation therapy (5 days a week) which hinders her full time job.
