Help Me Travel from California to Florida for the Disney College Program!

Hi everyone! My name is Julian Garcia, and I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve been accepted into the Disney College Program (DCP) in Florida! This opportunity means so much to me — both personally and professionally — and I’m grateful for the chance to take part in such a respected program.

The Disney College Program is a 6-month learning and work experience that will allow me to:

✨ Build professional skills in a world-class environment

✨ Grow my communication, leadership, and customer service abilities

✨ Strengthen my career path as I work toward completing my degree in Project Management

This program is a major step toward my long-term goals.

Why I’m Asking for Support

While the program provides housing once I arrive, I am responsible for all travel and relocation expenses from California to Florida. I’ll be driving cross-country, so these costs include:

Gas and vehicle expenses, Lodging during the multi-day drive, Food and essentials for the trip, Luggage and moving supplies, Initial expenses before my first paycheck

My move-in date is January 30, 2026, and the total costs add up quickly.

This year has also been challenging financially. I haven’t been able to work consistently due to a meniscus tear that required surgery and a long recovery process. Because of that, saving has been difficult, even though I’ve been doing everything I can to prepare for this opportunity.

My fundraising goal is $2,000, which will cover travel, lodging, food, and supplies, plus a small buffer for unexpected expenses. Any support will help me get to Florida safely and start the program on the right foot.
