Support Julian's Fight Against Cancer

Hi friends and family.

UPDATE, This Thursday is the biopsy of my liver, wish us luck. As this affects the whole family!

This is something I thought long and hard to do. I don’t like to ask anyone for anything as I’m a doer; I’m the one who always helps and who’s always there.

Well, 6 months ago I was having problems with sitting down and being comfortable. All my friends thought my typical self was being a drama queen.

Well, the pain was getting so bad I went to my doctor.

They ran blood tests, took X-rays, and did ultrasounds.

Everything was fine. A month later, my abdomen started hurting really bad, so I went back. More tests. Well, Texas healthcare sucks. My primary doctor is the worst. “Soon to be replaced.”

My doctor sent me to a urologist who did a thorough check and he said, “I hate to say this, but you have a large mass.” He then referred me back to my primary care doctor, who then scheduled me to see an oncologist, who then scheduled me for a biopsy. That’s when I got the news that I have cancer.

I then demanded a CT scan, which they did. They did a CT scan with contrast, which means they inject a dye into your body while they scan it.

They found a 2.4” mass on my liver.

Crazy, right? The ultrasound and X-rays 3 weeks earlier didn’t see anything, and neither did my blood work.

I am not able to work. Brandon is working 12-hour days and then has to come home to a house that needs attention. He’s taking care of our fur family, he’s working non-stop, he’s exhausted. We are both scared and don’t know what to do…

My insurance is limited here in Texas.

My savings are gone; there are so many expenses that are putting us into debt. I’ve maxed out my cards.

I need help. I want to take the burden off of Brandon, and I know he’s hurting inside and he’s also confused, scared, and working to keep us all afloat.
