Hi, my name is Elizabeth Bellard, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friends Ileana Mendez and Jeremy Sanchez during the most unimaginable time in their lives.

Their sweet 5-year-old son, Julian "JuJu" Sanchez, is a bright, loving little boy with the biggest smile and the kindest heart. On Saturday January 24th, Julian suffered a fall that led to to an emergency room visit. What the family thought would be a routine evaluation quickly turned into every parent's worst nightmare. Doctors discovered that Julian has a malignant brain tumor, and they strongly suspect it is Grade 4 Medulloblastoma.

Since that day, Julian has been undergoing extensive testing and urgent medical care. He is currently undergoing surgery to remove the tumor and perform a biopsy, and he has already had to have a drain placed to relieve fluid buildup on his brain. His journey is just beginning, and the road ahead will include intensive treatment, long hospital stays, and constant care.

Julian is surrounded by so much love from his parents and his two brothers, Jeremy Jr. (JJ) and Joshua, who adore him. Ileana will need to take an extended leave from work to be by Julian's side throughout his treatment while also caring for their other children. This sudden of income, combined with mounting medical and household expenses, has placed an overwhelming financial burden on the family.
