Our sweet baby Julian Burman is a poor college student in need of spending money. He's a fantastic kid, as all of you who know him know and we are so proud of him getting a nearly full ride to a prestigious school in IIT. He lives on campus and included in his school package is a food card so for the most part he is fed which is huge for his parents Nicole and I. He has room and board and isn't technically starving but with this being his Freshman year he has really been focused on making sure his grades are where he wants them to be and he has done that and then some. The thing is when you're a 18 year old college freshman and want to stay on top of your studies there's no time to work. As his father I share a joint bank account with him and can see his balance and activity. When he has less than $10 i make sure to put $20-30 back in just so he has spending money. Bottom line is he needs money for spending. Not much but some. We all know what it's like out there these days, $15 is a average lunch. A cover charge is $5-10. A freaking big bag of chips is like $8. He wants to work. Says he's applying. I told him I'd monitor his bank account and make sure he always has something in it. When school is done and summer is here I'll personally make sure he has a temporary occupation and that he's saving to try to get through most of his sophomore campaign. But at this moment even if a few of us contribute a small amount, say $20-50 a month he can make it to June without asking me or his mother for money every few days. You're receiving this only because you have a close and personal relationship with Julian. Please spare what would be the cost of a lunch or a dinner so he can have money to live life as a college freshman and not have to sit out experiences his friends are going on because he can't afford it. Thanks to you all. Peace and love.
