Support Julianne Ullman's Road to Recovery
Donation protected

Hello,
Our names are Stephanie Botsford and Allison Greenwell and we are writing this on behalf of our mother, Julianne Ullman. We truly appreciate you taking the time to read this, and are profoundly thankful for any assistance you can provide. Any amount you are willing to contribute is so appreciated, and if you are unable to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us.
Our mother suffered a stroke on June 17th, and is currently in the ICU. As we work through her medical issues, we are realizing that we will need help from our community to give our mother the best chance at recovery. Any money raised will be used to provide for her care, as it is sure to be challenging. If anyone can make it through this trial, it is Julianne.
Julianne has been experiencing homelessness for 13 years. She is a complicated woman, who has struggled with the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. She is also kind, generous, strong, artistic, and passionate. She cares deeply for everyone in her life, including her five children, and this is evident in her relationships. She has the ability to build strong bonds, and trust with others, simply by showing compassion and kindness. One of her greatest joys is her art. She uses painting as an escape, to release the pain she has experienced. We hope to support her during her recovery so she can one day return to her passion.
Please help us support our mother during this difficult time. We want to give her the best possible chance at recovery, and are so grateful to you for taking the time to read this.
We would like to end with a quote from our mother, taken from a video by Humanity Showers. We believe this encompasses the type of person Julianne is, and we hope it allows you to see her light the way we do.
“I help people, when I walk by. Even if it’s my last dollar, I’ll give it to somebody. Even just to acknowledge someone when you walk by, even if you have nothing to give but a hug.”
