Juliana’s Brave Little Heart
Juliana France Payumo is only ten months old, yet she has already shown more strength and courage than most people do in a lifetime. Her tiny hands clutch her mother’s fingers tightly whenever she feels tired, and her soft laughter fills a room with light, even as her little heart works harder than it should.
Juliana was born with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), a congenital heart condition where a hole exists in the wall that separates the heart’s upper chambers. This means her heart must work harder to pump blood, and though she looks like any other cheerful baby, her body carries a quiet battle within.
Under the care of Dr. Juan G. Reganion, a clinical and interventional pediatric cardiologist, Juliana’s condition is being carefully monitored and managed with medication to help her heart function more effectively. But despite these treatments, her doctor has explained that she will eventually need open-heart surgery to permanently repair the defect. The procedure, known as ASD Patch Closure under Cardiopulmonary Bypass, will give her heart the chance to work the way it was always meant to.
Juliana’s parents face this reality with a mix of fear and hope. They watch her grow, cherishing every giggle, every milestone, and every tiny heartbeat that reminds them of her resilience. Her mother often whispers promises of a brighter, healthier tomorrow as she holds Juliana close—believing that love and faith will carry them through the toughest days.
Though her journey is filled with hospital visits and careful routines, Juliana’s spirit remains unbroken. Her smile has become a symbol of hope—a reminder that even the smallest hearts can hold immense courage.
Juliana’s story is one of bravery, love, and unwavering faith—a testament that miracles often come wrapped in the smallest packages.
How You Can Help
Juliana’s upcoming open-heart surgery and ongoing care come with significant medical costs that her family cannot shoulder alone. Your kind donations will go directly toward her surgery, hospital expenses, post-operative care, and medications—giving this little fighter the chance to live a full, healthy life.
Her family, especially her loving mother Monina, is deeply grateful for every prayer, share, and contribution. No amount is too small—each one brings Juliana closer to the healing she deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Juliana’s journey toward recovery. Your compassion and generosity can help her brave little heart keep beating strong. ❤️
