Hi! Juliana here! I would just like to start off by saying this is very hard for me to put this out there and all my business out there. I'm a very proud woman and don't like asking anybody for help, so here it goes.

For those of you who don't know, I had to have emergency surgery in December on the morning of the 14th. I had a strangulated umbilical hernia that caused cellulitis and necrotizing fasciitis, which then caused me to go into septic shock. I arrived at the hospital just in time. My blood pressure was super low. They could barely find veins to give me IVs to start me on fluids and necessary life-saving antibiotics.

They removed all the infected tissue and put the hernia back in, and I ended up being in the hospital for 8 days and went home with a wound vac with three visits a week to the wound care clinic.

Because of all of that, I have not been able to work, which really sucks because after a couple of hard years financially after a divorce, I was finally getting back on my feet, being able to pay the rent early and all the bills early.

My then 18 y/o son had to get two jobs so he could pay all the bills, and even with him working doubles, we were not making it.

Fast forward to February 16th, 2026, this past Monday, I went to the wound care clinic for my now weekly visit (I was healing right up), and it turns out I have a cellulitis infection again, and I'm currently in the hospital. That means Emilio has to miss work at one of his jobs, which is going to put us even more behind financially.

I have a 6 y/o son too. And I am terrified of losing everything we have worked so hard to have these past three years: the roof over our head, our vehicle, and all the other things life requires.

So, with all that being told, I'm asking for financial help. I know times are tough for everybody. I'm at my wit's end and don't really know where to turn. There's one resource here that is willing to help, but it turns out that funding just closed, and we're waiting for more funding to open, but who knows when that will be. If you can help us with any amount, it would mean keeping a roof over our heads, clothes on my little one's back, food in his belly, and a smile on his face, and a bit of peace for me and my now 19 y/o. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Even just sharing this would help.
