Juliana and I have been friends since the 1990s, sharing countless memories together. We were even roommates back in the mid-90s, and over the years, our friendship has only grown stronger. We both share a love for contra dance and mountain hiking, and Juliana has always been a supportive and caring presence in my life and in the lives of many others.

Recently, Juliana received the difficult news that she has breast cancer. She is now preparing to begin treatment, which will include surgery and a challenging recovery period. Even before her diagnosis, Juliana was barely getting by financially, relying on SSDI and Medicare, and I have done what I can to help her make ends meet. However, the added burden of out-of-pocket medical expenses and the loss of income while she is unable to work has made her situation urgent.
