Support Julia Baker After Car and Home Loss

This is my good friend Julia Baker's car and home. On Dec 30, there was a shooting in a house down the street from hers. This car, driving down the street, sped up when he heard the shots and lost control of his vehicle. The accident totaled Julia’s car and damaged her home, making it unlivable.

Those of you who know Julia know what a caring and giving person she has always been. She has had her sister, daughter, and 2 young grandsons living with her. As of now, they are staying in a hotel, looking to find a temporary rental in hopes that their house can be repaired and safe to live in.

Unfortunately, Julia did not have insurance and will be relying on the insurance of the other car owner. Due to the holiday, the adjuster has not come out yet. If they can fix it, it will be some time before they can move back in. The house has been boarded up, so they were not able to take much with them.
