Last night, my best friend’s mom passed away way too soon after almost 3 years of battling ovarian cancer. Maya Buinov was one of the most generous and brightest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was the type of person you could go to when you needed advice, a laugh, a warm hug, or just someone to talk to about literally anything in the world. Maya’s kids were her world; Julia and Anna would not be the hilarious, outgoing, kind, and inviting people they are today if it weren’t for her. Her impact on everyone who knew her was tremendous. 

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Julia and Anna Fish, who also lost their father a few years ago, to support them through this difficult time.
