Support Jules' Ballet Journey in Munich, Germany

Hi everyone,

My name is Juliana Renee S. Gatapia, or you can call me Jules.

I’m an 18-year-old classical ballet and contemporary dancer on the road to fulfilling my long-time dream of being an international prima ballerina.

I've been dancing ballet since I was 6 years old, and since then, I've accomplished these feats:

Last month, I received the best opportunity a young Filipina dancer could ever have - a scholarship at the internationally-acclaimed arts school, the Bavaria Ballet Academy.

I am happy to share that I am the first Filipino to be offered the opportunity to train under them and to be granted a 60% scholarship in this prestigious private art school.

Joining their Senior Professional Program starting this September 2022 until September 2025. I'm looking forward to learning dance from people worldwide, joining festivals and workshops in Italy, and getting more opportunities to compete.

I am blessed to have a supportive family who continuously supports my journey to becoming an internationally-acclaimed dancer, even if the costs are high.

However, despite all the help and support that they gave, I do not want to burden them the full amount of my dreams.

This is why I took it upon myself to earn money on my own working as a freelancer and to reach out to people through this fundraiser.

With your help, I will be able to cover my plane fare, visa requirements, and living expenses for the first 2 months.

I will strive hard throughout the program to best represent the Philippines, whose citizens are known to be resilient, talented, and hardworking.
